Slumdog Millionaire sweeps 8 Oscars winning the Oscars for Best Film, Best Director, Best Adapted Script, Best Sound Mixing, Best Cinematography, Best Editing and A.R.Rahman Bags two Oscars for his Best Original Music Score composed and for Best Song Category. A.R.Rehman's Jai HO song won Oscar award for Best Song category. Rahman share the award with lyricist Gulzar. By winning two Oscars within a spam of 10 minutes Rahman set a record of only Indian to bag two oscar awards. Jai Ho Rahman. The other Indian who win Oscar is Pookutty for his sound mixing. Danny Boyle win Oscar for Best Director for his film Slumdog Millionaire.
Totally Slumdog Millionaire nominated for 10 awards in 9 categories, out of that Slumdog Millionaire win 8 Oscars.
