Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza won the Australian Open Mixed Doubles Championship. This is the first grandslam for Sania Mirza and for the Indian Pair. Sania Mirza is the first woman in India won Grandslam title. For Mahesh it is his 11th Grandslam title and Seventh in Mixed Doubles. It's been a consolation win for Mahesh after he lost in the Men's Doubles Final against Bryan Brothers. This is the best time for the Indian Tennis because Yuki Bhambri also won the Junior Championship in the hard court Australian Open.
