Maria Sharapova Completed Career Grandslam at Roland Garros

Maria sharapova finally got her fourth grandslam title at Roland Garros by defeating  Sara Errani 6-3, 6-2 in the final of the French Open tennis title. The beautiful Russian who once again topped the world ranking after  four years completed her career grandslam.  Maria earlier won Wimbledon, Australian Open in 2008, U.S. Open in 2006 and finally she won French Open at Roland Garros and become the sixth women player who achieved career grandslam.

Del Potro upsets Roger Federer to take U.S. Open final

Del Porto, the No. 5 Seed upsets the World No.1 Roger Federer on Monday to clinch the U.S.Open 2009. The match last long for five sets and in the end Del Porto Beat Roger Federer by 3-6, 7-6 (7/5), 4-6, 7-6 (7/4), 6-2.

Maria Sharapova crashed out of Wimbledon

Maria Sharapova, the former wimbledon champion crashed out of wimbledon in the second round by Gisela Dulko by 2-6, 6-3, 4-6. Sharapova struggled from her shoulder injury and she is not 100% fit for this tournament and she never show her grip in the match eventhough she took the second set in the match. Dulko is too good for Maria Sharapova and that results in the entry of the third round in the wimbledon for her.

This is the fourth time the former world no.1 Federer entering into the French open final. He lost all the other three finals against Rafa Nadal in the previous occasions. Mahesh Bhupathi & Sania Mirza - Australian Open Mixed Doubles Champions

Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza won the Australian Open Mixed Doubles Championship. This is the first grandslam for Sania Mirza and for the Indian Pair. Sania Mirza is the first woman in India won Grandslam title. For Mahesh it is his 11th Grandslam title and Seventh in Mixed Doubles. It's been a consolation win for Mahesh after he lost in the Men's Doubles Final against Bryan Brothers. This is the best time for the Indian Tennis because Yuki Bhambri also won the Junior Championship in the hard court Australian Open.
